Claude API · Claude Code · MCP

Connect Claude locally.

Use Claude in your own environment, alongside the other models and providers in Suite API.

Before you connect

You need an authorized local Suite API installation and access to your chosen provider. For the agent workflow, you also need Claude Code. Local product access is currently required. Request local access

Claude API

Select a supported Claude model and configure your Anthropic credential in the local application. The integration returns a text response, token usage, and request timing.

Verify the connection locally before using it in a workflow. Provider usage charges may apply.

Claude Code

Enable the Suite API connection in your local Claude Code environment. Its read-only MCP tools let your agent explore models and compare their catalog profiles.

Discover models
List the models available in the catalog.
Inspect a model
Read its provider, pricing, and context information.
Compare models
Place selected catalog profiles side by side.
Inspect providers
Read catalog status for each provider.

How verification works

One local command, npm run verify:claude:e2e, checks the integration against Anthropic's first-party API with your own key. It confirms that the selected Claude model is listed and active for that key, sends one short request, and checks that the reported token usage matches the API response exactly. It then calls all four read-only MCP tools directly and from a real Claude Code session.

The command writes a local receipt that never contains your key. It reports success only when every check passes.

Integration status

The local Claude adapter and read-only MCP tools are implemented. Claude API and Claude Code end-to-end verification passed on October 9, 2026, with a first-party API key and Claude Haiku 5.5.

Enter credentials only in your local environment. The public preview accepts no API keys.
